Milling tradition
since 1887
Founded in 1887 by Auguste Lainé after purchasing Moulin du Marché, the company was rebuilt after the Second World War and became Minoterie Lainé. Its opening in 1955 makes it the most modern mill in France.
In 2003, Minoterie Lainé was purchased and became Moulin d'Auguste. Under the supervision of its manager Mr. Sébastien Dutacq, a new philosophy was established to reflect a focus on LOCAL PRODUCE and the ENVIRONMENT.
This led to the offer of standard and organic flours made from local wheat (within 40 km of Andelys) produced in Andelys.
The initiatives implemented by Moulin d’Auguste allowed it to win 1st prize in the Sustainable Development Awards in 2010.
